School Lunches are freshly prepared and cooked on the premises by our resident cook Mrs. Grogan. The lunch menus consist of a hot two-course meal, offering a choice of main courses, vegetables, salads and desserts.
The “Lunch Hub” is the new name for our school dining room, as we listened to what our children want and brought our school lunch service “in-house” so that we can deliver healthy, sustainable meals, every day.
We believe our school meals are excellent value, costing £2.65 per meal, £13.25 per week.
School lunch time gives children a good opportunity to socialise and enjoy a meal together.
Choosing a school lunch helps children by:
Providing a tasty, nutritious and great value for money meal (that meets latest lunch standards).
Helping them to concentrate, learn and develop their social skills.
Providing a balanced diet and the chance to try new foods.
Enjoying their lunch in a safe and supervised environment with their friends.
Showing in school what we mean by a healthy and balanced diet.

From September 2026, free school meal (FSM) eligibility in England will expand to all children in households receiving Universal Credit (UC). If you think you and your children will benefit from this change please apply here. For every child that registers for FSM the school receives £1,550 per pupil. This is an additional funding amount designed to improve educational outcomes for vulnerable children. Families of children who are eligible for meals will also receive supermarket vouchers for the holidays, help to purchase school uniform and subsidies for school trips
